Cycling has not been a small part of my life, although I don't cycle very often. Cycling helps to de-stress and at the same time, allows me to enjoy nature, discover new places, get some sunshine and exercise at the same time. Outdoor cycling is one of the most intense forms of cardio around. Cycling is a great way to enjoy the great outdoors while adding a huge helping of variety to your standard stationary bike habit. Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride. The start was slightly shaky for me today. Ivy called it problem with low speed balance. It took some courage to overcome that initial fear, but once that was broken, everything else after that was much easier. Keeping relaxed was another thing too. By mid-way, I was enjoying myself. The scenery was good and I caught a few planes taking off and landing at the runway. In any case, practice makes perfect. After cycling and dinner at East Coast Park, we went to this Tin Tine located at Pahang Street (in Kampong Glam area, near Jalan Sultan) to have some chill-out drinks. This Tintine is a newcomer to quaint Pahang Street, a bold new concept by the hitherto Indian-centric Herbs & Spices Group. Tintine aims to build on the solid foundation that Herbs & Spices has laid with their upmarket Indian food joints by introducing elements of Italian cuisine into their successful concept. They also have an extensive wine list, which provides very good value for money.
