Time flies so fast and once again we are here to usher in the Chinese New Year on 23 January 2012. Today marks the beginning of the 15-day Chinese New Year celebration, a holiday that focuses on family, good luck, prosperity and happiness.
This 15-day celebration is an important time for family reunions and often, it is the only time each year that most people return to their ancestral homes to be with their families and friends. Nothing beats a heartwarming meal / reunion with your family and loved ones on this annual chinese festive celebration.
Here goes some pictures of my annual lunar new year celebration with my family taken on the first day of the Dragon Year!
As mentioned earlier, today also marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year, ushering in the year of the dragon, considered to be a particularly auspicious sign.
Here’s wishing you all a healthy and happy New Year filled with good fortune! Let us enjoy this Chinese New Year with great happiness; warmth from the family and fun from the friends! 恭喜发财 to all my family members, relatives and Chinese friends. May all your hopes, dreams and wishes come true. May success and prosperity be with you throughout this New Lunar Year too. :-)
祝大家新年快乐, 恭喜发财, 一切在龙年里事事顺利, 身体健康 !
