What a great week i just had! I don’t remember how old I was when I first started exchanging gifts with my friends, but I remember loving it. I was young, maybe 10 or 11 and with the help of my parents, I would go to the shopping mall and pick out something I thought they would like. Then, one day after school, we would all meet at someone’s home and exchange. It was so much fun, getting and receiving gifts with my friends. That is why I think a Christmas Gift Exchange is a great gift idea for friends to do at Christmas time, especially as we grow older, quality time to spend a festive season with your loved ones and best friends is such a treasure. Gifts with meaning are always the best anyway. While I am quite exhausted this week after all the delicious meals and gift exchange sessions - it was worth it! I shall let the countdown to Christmas begin! My beloved cute nephew and niece finally received their long-awaited Christmas presents from me! Look how happy they were. They just made me feel so warmth with their happy smile. This whole week was my long-time close friends' gift exchange. This has been a tradition of ours for many years already! It's always such a fun event and a great excuse for girlfriends to get together and do what we do best - chit-chat! Plus it really puts you in the holiday spirit, as it's usually the first present we all get to open before Christmas. Some snapshots of the wrapped and unwrapped presents at this year's gift exchange sessions and oh yes, the gifts included some from my cute nephew and niece too! Gift exchanges seem to be a highlight of many Christmas gatherings. I always enjoy the simple act of exchanging small gifts, happy time, a friendly retreat from chaos. All of my friends got a gift, which is always fun and they also picked out a special present for me too! And more importantly, we all get to spend an enjoyable meal and time together.
I will be finally heading for my extraordinary Taiwan photo travel trip next week, so i hereby wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and A Happy Year 2013 ahead! Stay cheerful and remember to have fun always! :-)
