A much-anticipated dinner at this newly-opened Thai restaurant located at 28 Liang Seah Street, a hip location among young professionals, opposite Bugis Junction. Human traffic is heavy and it's probably a good thing that most people knows the owner, Pornsak from his TV variety shows, or else they might be tempted to head somewhere with a classier-sounding name for dinner. Perharps, Orchard Towers or any other Thai restaurants in town area.
The dinner @ Porn's was meant to celebrate a nice & jovious friend's birthday named Sandy!! Thai food is actually one of her favourites !
Styling itself as Sexy Thai Food, Porn's strips classic dishes really stood out in their menu.
The whole place is actually quite a small & cozy area and the decor is basics theme with white walls and creative graffiti which shows a map of Thailand.
A Pad Thai hor kai we could with done-just-right noodles encased in what alone could pass for a great omelet elsewhere.
Rice cracker (S$6.50) with meat dip & green mango salad.
I'm glad that the birthday girl and the rest of the group enjoyed their meal at Porn's, credit should also go to the organiser (me !) besides the yummy food at Porn's ! :-)
Overall score @ Porn's (out of 10 marks):
a. Ambience at Courtyard scored 9
b. Food Taste scored 9
c. Food Value scored 9
d. Service & Cheerfulness scored 9
