Warmest congratulations to Derek & Sandy on their wedding !!! They finally got hitched after dating for more than 10 years (they were together since their JC days). Their wedding dinner last night was held at Peach Garden Chinese restaurant located at Novena Ville and the event was a small and close-up affair with both families and close friends.
Indeed it was a small private affair to remember!! Wedding time is normally considered a time of grand celebration, expenses and people. It is undeniably a couple’s personal decision either to have a grand celebration or a simple private affair with family and close friends. I personally prefer a simple and close-up dinner where people can really interact and mingle among themselves at the event (since most of them already know each other so well).

Peach Garden's is definitely about great food, (usually) impeccable service and nice ambience. Waitresses will walk past every few minutes to make sure that everything was in order.
Dish 1: Fresh local lobster with salad & mango, roasted crispy pork cube accompanied with deep fried bean skin roll.
Dish 2: Double boiled sea whelk & fish maw with baby superior shark's fin soup.
Dish 3: Sautied fresh prawn and scallop with dried chilli & cashew nuts in crispy basket.
Dish 4: Steamed fillet of sea perch with crispy bean crumbs.
Dish 5: Braised whole abalone with sea cucumber and vegetable.
Dish 6: Roasted crispy chicken with sliced almond flake and golden garlic.
The right wedding readings can make an already special day even more special and memorable. Every bride and groom dream of their special wedding day, and having friends and family around to express their good wishes can make that wonderful experience even better.
I believe most of the guests (including me!!!) appreciated the heartfelt sentiment of the speech by Sandy towards the end of the event. She delivered a sensational personality talk on each of her close friends who were present as a form to convey her warmest and sincere thanks for their attendance. I was very touched by what she has commented about me in public that i am a person who dares to dream and will always pursue hard on whatever i want in life. Yes, that is the real me. Like i always say, life is really short. We all have a choice to make the best out of our lives.
Here's my personal toast:
* Here's to the bride (Sandy) - may she share everything with her husband and that includes the housework.
* Here's to the groom (Derek), a man who kept his head even while he lost his heart.
* Here's to the new husband and here's to the new wife, may they remain lovers, for all of life !
祝你们有一个幸福的婚姻, 愿你俩的爱永远留在 !!!
