Another of my photos is being featured published in the latest monthly Singapore Female Fashion Magazine March 2012 Issue !! Yippee !! The leading fashion magazine has a Fsnapshots section - a monthly wall / page of photos and thoughts - where anyone can send in their photos with a caption relating to fashion, lifestyle, design etc. Above is the photo that i had submitted for publication in Female Magazine. I was shopping at the H&M duplex boutique store in Hong Kong and chanced upon this wallpaper at the boutique! It simply reminds me of the famous Hollywood Actress - Julia Roberts in the classic movie "Pretty Woman".
I first watched this movie starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts when I was a preteen. I have the DVD and whenever i watch it again, i still think that this movie is pretty awesome. This is not one of the best movies from the '80s, but it somehow made a big impact on me because of Julia Roberts. I thought she was so cool and I copied a lot of my fashion styles after her character in the movie (big hair and all). Being a child of the '80s, i have been slowly re-collecting many of the classic movies and this one has been on my list for a while. Special Thanks to The Singapore Female Magazine Editorial Team for publishing my photo in the March 2012 issue. You have made my day! :-) Please browse another of my photo that was featured in the Female Magazine last year (November 2011 Issue): http://jennifer-teo.weebly.com/1/post/2011/11/photo-featured-in-female-fashion-magazine-issue-november-2011.html

This week is the Singapore Airshow week and a big welcome to Singapore Airshow 2012! The air-show, which is held every two years, is the world's largest, behind Paris' Le Bourget and Britain's Farnborough. Are you guys ready to fly with the awesomeness plane? Let’s check out the largest aerospace display at the Changi Exhibition Centre now! In fact, this is my first time visiting the largest Airshow exhibition in Singapore. Hence, it’s also an eye opener for me to see and touch the latest aviation's finest. Yesterday's visitors came to gawk at the aerial displays and the static display of 60 aircraft in the outdoor area, including military planes, passenger airliners and luxury executive jets.
Some of the featured aircraft displays are Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Dassault Falcon 900 LX, United States Air Force F-22 Raptor, F-15E Strike Eagle, F-35 Lightning II, Airbus A380 and etc… Without further do, let’s check out the aircraft display pictures (which i took during the event yesterday) below here! Here goes the Part 2 of my blog post on the Singapore Airshow 2012 which sprung off to a rousing launch on a Saturaday morning with a visually stunning aerobatic flying display featuring commercial and military jets. Singapore's RSAF F.16C + F-15G, Malaysia's RMAF Smokey Bandits and Australia's RAAF Roulettes displayed the adept skills required by the pilots to synchronise their jets in the team aerobatics display. I must say that the challenging aerial display up in the skies have wowed the speculators with lots of photo taking opportunities! Yesterday's fair weather condition certainly enhanced the Airshow exhibition atmosphere, clear and sharp Aerobatic Flying Displays above the sky attracted the crowds of getting face-to-face with the power and glory of warbirds and graceful commercial aircrafts.
In this blog post, i managed to capture yet another beautiful and spectacular red sunset on Valentine's Day!! After a long day of waiting, this red sky is the reward. Soft pastel clouds are set wonderfully in the orangegy red stratosphere.
Is there a more perfect end to Valentine's Day than this amazing sunset yesterday? Love was in the air, so all those romantics would have loved it! :-) Not many colorful sunrises lately, so I was glad to see one this morning. Sunrise is the perfect time of day and this shot is perfect! What a beautiful sunrise to awaken too! When seeing the sunrise, I am reassured that our lives are made up of so many sunrises, those which we missed and those which we enjoyed spending. Every sunrise indeed can bring in renewed hope, faith and trust on the convincing power of nature, its immense beauty and its manifold embrace. The sunrise that I captured remains brightly and warmly within my heart, that those that I write gives meaning to an ordinary morning because I found beauty, inspiration and acceptance as the sun shone! Hope all of you have a great week ahead! :-)
Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre is located on the western part of Singapore. Well-known for its buzzing morning activities, the centre is the main distribution point for imported fruits and vegetables in Singapore. With a wide variety of exotic & fresh fruits and vegetables selling at wholesale prices, the centre is also a hot shopping spot for consumers and tourists.
Drawing its core crowd of wet market hawkers and restaurant owners, the wholesale centre is operational 24 hours a day, closing only on the first day of Chinese New Year. In the day, people arrive to buy and sell fruits in bulk. Night market vendors arrive to set up their stalls from 7pm onwards, but the busiest window is from 2am to 4am. |
