If you are a café hopper cum enthusiast on our sunny island and find that you have run out of cafes to go to, fret not, 7-Eleven (7-11) has collaborated with Coca-Cola Singapore to open a first-ever 7-Eleven x Coca-Cola concept store last month in Singapore. Their concept store is a breath of fresh air as it steps out of the mould of your typical 7-Eleven. Located at the House of Eden in No. 4 Robinson Road (conveniently outside Exit F of Raffles Place MRT station), this concept store is filled with Coca-Cola novelty items and is decked in some red furniture. I was welcomed by a giant Coca-Cola Splash Tree depicting the beverages offered by Coca-Cola upon arrival. I also saw a Nostalgic Zone which features the iconic Coca-Cola Cooler and vintage Coca-Cola wooden crates. I was greeted by a customised 7-Eleven X Coca-Cola Pit-Stop wall that pays homage to everything "Uniquely Singapore", from familiar Singaporean colloquial phrases to hawker centre staples, and well-known landmarks. The mural also features 7-Eleven specialties such as Mr Softee, Slurpees and the 7Cafe. This place is much like an upgraded convenience store. The two-storey store presents an array of well-loved offerings from both brands, from 7-Eleven’s ready-to-eat meals to the thirst-quenching Coca-Cola beverages. The decor is where the concept store stands out. You can expect a modern interior dressed in the iconic Coca Cola red, along with themed wall murals and Insta-worthy furniture at every corner. The retro neon signs planted on their feature walls also makes for a fantastic post on your Instagram feed. There’s even a foodball table, charging points and bean bags. A photo-opportunity area with cut-outs such as polar bears, Coca-Cola bottles, and unique lighting that enhances the trick-eye effect are perfect backdrops for some wacky snapshots. In love with coke? Well now you not only can enjoy the drink, but you can enjoy it in a fully decked out classic red coke-themed store. If you are excited for a challenge, you can try your luck at their claw machines to win attractive prizes such as foldable bicycles, picnic tables and more. Tokens for the claw machines will be provided with a minimum spend of $7 at the retail area, which has to include a purchase of Coca-Cola, Sprite or A&W beverages. Coca-Cola’s name speaks for itself. Seriously, who has never had a Coke in their life? For decades, they have done a brilliant job of celebrating life and bringing people together through their product. Coca-Cola continues to inspire moments of optimism and bliss all over the world. This concept store housed in a convenience store not only showcases the beverage brand, but also seeks to give a fun and convenient experience.
The Singapore’s first 7-Eleven x Coca-Cola concept store is opened daily from 7am to 8pm. Check it out if your office is in the Central Business District or just pop by during the weekends which are less crowded where you may have a chance to enjoy quierter ambience as though you book the whole place. Enjoy your coke !
