Yesterday was my nephew, Ryan's birthday ! Time flies, he is 7 years old this year. We meant to throw an outdoor party for him but because his mum has to be out of town for work, she is unable to celebrate his birthday with the whole family, we went for a close-up & warm home birthday celebration instead.
As usual, each year i will get a different theme cake for Ryan and i ordered a Diego birthday cake for him this year. I meant to get a Transformers cake for him from Bengawan Solo but unfortunately that pantry shop announced they no longer hold rights to bake Transformers cake since last month. I sought Ryan's opinion and in the end, he agreed to having his next favourite Diego themed cake.
We just recently celebrated his sister's (Rachelle) birthday a few weeks ago. Yes, so coincidentally, these 2 siblings' birthday falls in the same month, March. In my earlier blog posted this month on Rachelle's birthday celebration, i mentioned that she is a big fan of Dora The Explorer - a Spanish animated 7 years old girl girl who embarks on a trip in every episode in order to find something or help somebody. This Diego boy is actually Dora's older cousin who helps animals in danger, mainly in the rainforest.
My nephew just recently extracted out one of his front tooth as part of growing new set of teeth for kids. Hence, we advised him not to open his mouth while photoshooting. Just smile. He did a good job though !
Words can’t express how much Ryan & Rachelle have changed my life. They are such a blessing to our family and watching them grow into a handsome, gorgeous little man & girl is simply so amazing. Sometimes when i look back at all the past taken pics of them since day 1 they entered into my life, it’s crazy to see how fast they have grown…
Happy birthday Ryan, my favorite little man!! I hope you’re ready for another year of smooches ! :-)
