Have always been watching on how a courtroom looks like in television shows and never expect that i would really get to that doorstep in reality. Got called up to ask whether i am interested to join in a photography tour at the former Supreme Court before the whole place is closed for preservation works. I thought, this is such a rare chance for me to take a real look at the inside of this historic building and this place is not open to public viewing at all after the closure in 2006. The Old Supreme Court Building is one of the most handsome buildings in Singapore. It is located along St Andrew's Road, just beside the equally historic City Hall building. The new Supreme Court which was completed in 2006 sits on the site of the former Colombo Court and it is attracting quite a lot of attention among the locals. Once in a lifetime to get to see what's really inside a courtroom ! Overall, i enjoyed the photography tour very much. It was really a big eye-opener for me ! At least i have seen how a courtroom and a prison cell really look like and frankly, not many people would have that kind of chance to get such experience, right ??!!
